Pastor Ibn Johnson humbly serves as the Senior Pastor of Power Apostolic Church. His journey in ministry began under the leadership of the late and honorable Bishop Howard A. Swancy at Peace Apostolic Church in Carson, CA, where he faithfully served as a minister.

Pastor Johnson has always had a deep passion for winning souls to Christ. His humble service has extended to various ministries, including outreach in juvenile prisons, ministering in drug rehabilitation facilities, supporting the homeless, and engaging in street evangelism. He also has a profound love for the younger generation, having served as a Sunday School teacher for children ranging from preschool to high school.

The strong, passionate preaching and teaching style that defines Pastor Johnson today was instilled in him by his late mentor, Bishop Swancy, during over 15 years of dedicated service. With humility and prayerful anticipation, he seeks to continue the rich Apostolic legacy, serving God’s people with love, sincerity, and unwavering commitment to preaching the unadulterated Word of the True and Living God.

In his personal life, Pastor Johnson finds great joy in his 26-year marriage to his beloved wife, Tiffany Johnson. They are blessed with seven children: LeLahni, Arion, Tyler and his wife, Xenyla, Khye, Alyssa, and Kaylee - and one grandchild, David.

Charleston Beard humbly serves as the Associate Pastor at Power Apostolic Church. He was privileged to minister as part of the congregation at Peace Apostolic Church under the guidance of the late and highly esteemed Bishop Howard A. Swancy, who was not only a spiritual mentor but also a father in the gospel.

Pastor Beard’s passion for the Word of God was nurtured through his association with Bishop Swancy. With a heart of humility, he devoted himself to studying the scriptures, faithfully attending church services, and furthering his biblical education at Aenon Bible College under the late Dean Norma Jackson. His dedication to ministry led him to actively serve in homeless outreach and drug rehabilitation facilities, partnering with Pastor Johnson to share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Pastor Beard has also contributed his time and energy to various church ministries, including the Men’s Ministry, the Youth Cabinet, and Sunday School, where he has taught youth, young adults, and adults.

In his personal life, Pastor Beard finds great joy in his 22-year marriage to his beloved wife, Aiesha Beard. Together, they are blessed with three children: Chloe, Caleb, and Chase.

WE BELIEVE in the Virgin Birth. Jesus was both human and divine; He was God manifested in flesh. (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; I Timothy 3:16) WE BELIEVE in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
 
WE BELIEVE that He ascended on high and has sent his spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 1900 years ago, and it is this same spirit that fills the hearts of those who seek Him today. (Acts 2:22-24; I Cor. 15:20; Acts 2:4)
 
WE BELIEVE in baptism in water by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This constitutes the new birth. (Acts 2:1-4, Acts 2:38; St. John 3:3-8; Acts 8:16; 10:44-46; 19:5-6; Titus 3:5)

WE BELIEVE in a holy, sanctified life. (I Peter 1:15-17, Hebrews 12:14)
 
WE BELIEVE in divine healing, holy communion and foot washing.
 
WE BELIEVE also in the glorious catching away (The Rapture) of the saints when Jesus returns in the clouds of glory to take His people to Heaven. (I Th. 4:16)
 
WE BELIEVE that JESUS is the only saving NAME and so whatsoever you do in word or deed, you should do ALL in the Name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 4:12; Col. 3:17)
